The Gap Meter - Commerical Electronics Products
A device that determines the position of golfers on a golf course and displays the time intervals between groups with the 
aim of discouraging 'slow play'.
Two variants of the device were implemented, one using ultrasonic to detect the golfers proximity and the other mounted on the flagstick and using radio communications.
The ultrasonic version can display the time gap between of up five groups of golfers and can be networked back to a host PC for remote data logging and statistical analysis. The ultrasonic unit is powered by a built in solar panel.
