Science and Research Projects Genesys has developed a system of intelligent fasteners for use in automotive, marine and aerospace applications. Fastening technologies are light weight, highly integrated and miniaturised and incorporate state-of-the-art memory shape alloys for actuation. Fasteners can be actuated to release loads under the control of radio keyfobs, blue-tooth PDAs and PC applications. Fasteners embody systems for reporting fastener actuation status.
